LGBTQ+ THERAPIST IN CEDAR FALLS & WATERLOO
Chad Mohammad, MSW, LISW · 200 State Street, Cedar Falls · Telehealth across Iowa
THE PRACTICE
Queer and trans people are at the heart of my practice, alongside ADHD, autism, trauma, identity, and burnout.
I do therapy a little differently. Conversational and direct, not clinical and distant.
Queer and trans people welcome.
LOCAL TO THE CEDAR VALLEY
The office is at 200 State Street, Suite 202K, in downtown Cedar Falls, minutes from Waterloo. Telehealth covers the rest of Iowa.
For community healthcare, mutual aid, and harm reduction in the Cedar Valley, see the community resources page.
LETTERS OF SUPPORT
Letters of support for gender-affirming care, written after an individual clinical assessment. There is no charge for a letter visit, and you do not have to become my therapy client.
STARTING
If you want to talk before booking anything, the consult call is free: (619) 559-5769, call or text. You can also email chad@waterlootherapist.com, or book directly.
Separate from letters, I hold a small number of ongoing therapy openings for people who are underinsured or cannot pay. Say so when you reach out. No documentation is required.
